Quality and Cleanliness

Damascus applies the best standards of food safety, and we are keen in providing food as required in the general specifications of the Food Authority. Damascus App is committed to all regulations, laws and standards applied in Malaysia concerning the preparation of foods and its components.

Payments

The customer can choose between different payment methods on the Damascus App, which are currently:

Visa, master card, FPX online banking, Grab Pay.

Damascus App has the right to provide any other payment methods not currently available, or to withhold any payment methods currently available.

In the case of payment through the application, the customer is obliged to choose one of the payment methods available upon request. The online payments will be handled by the online payment service providers.

The customer is always committed to ensure that the card balance is sufficient to pay the value of the order.

Cancellation

After the order is confirmed by the customer and the order is sent via the application, the request cannot be cancelled because the branch automatically receives the order and the team at the branch starts working directly on preparing the food.

Wrong orders

The customer has the right to refund a full or part of the order amount in the following cases: If you do not receive the order, we will refund the full amount.

Receiving the wrong order, we will refund the full amount.

In case of missing items of the order, we will refund part of the order.

Technical issues

In some cases, the Damascus App might not be available, due to updating it with new features or maintenance. Although we will inform customers in advance if there is an upcoming maintenance date, this cannot be guaranteed and we reserve the right to modify or withdraw the Service at any time.

Refund

The customer has the right to refund a full or part of the order amount in the following cases:

  • If you do not receive the order, we will refund the full amount.
  • Receiving the wrong order, we will refund the full amount.
  • In case of missing items of the order, we will refund part of the order.

For refunds, please take note of the processing time and when to expect the funds to be available in your source account.

  • GrabPay – within 24 hours upon successful investigation being carried out.
  • Credit/Debit Card – within 2-3 working days or up to 30 calendar days depending on your bank’s processing time.

Delivery

The Customer is responsible for verifying the authenticity of the delivery addresses, and Damascus App shall have no liability or responsibility for any wrong addresses. Damascus App will do its best to meet the specified delivery time, however, the delivery time may be affected by factors outside its control and therefore cannot be guaranteed. We will notify you if we know of any unexpected delay.

If the customer is not present at the address specified in the system, the order items by the customer will not be delivered to any other address. In this case, the customer must accept all the legal responsibilities arising from completing a purchase to an address he does not reside in.
